I am semi-out-of-comission with a busted hand from my dog biting me while i was trying to inspect a potentiall injury to his rump. It's not so bad that i don't think i will make a full recovery, however this is the worst he has ever bitten me so far, and so much so that in the end i felt it was necessray to go to the doctor to get some antibiotics. the doc fixed me up, however the hand still hurts, and i expect it will be awhile before i'm good to go again... The worst part is i sort of feel like this wouldn't have happened if it weren't for the way my sister interacts with the dog since she moved in with us this past year - it has definitely been a big change. How do i fix this? I don't know. my hand is busted up and now i can't do the various project i had planned until it heals. Very much a bummer. I am honestly debating surrendering the dog. I'm not sure my mom and sister will let me do that though. The thing is, they are kind of the problem though, but i don't expect i can get anyone to change their behavior. They are training him to be a bad dog. This is irresponsible, but it seems like there is nothing i can do.
