i'm still posting little notes here becaues i have too much to do and there is no time. i was catching up on some YT and news after failing with my chainsaw work this morning on this horribly hazy day(unforcast btw). hopefully the chainsaw will start working again after soaking the carb with carb-cleaner for a few hours, but anyway, i had some little notes i wanted to share with myself(and the public i guess) based on recent news on Ukraine. anyway, here is today's update: another good YT channel https://www.youtube.com/@Professor-Gerdes/ also i saw this vid today. ukraine is exposing a fundamental flaw in authoritarian style defence industry. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=paW_o0P2rSA How a $2K AI‑Guided Drone Crippled Russia’s Military Production Factory https://www.youtube.com/@jasonjaysmart https://www.reuters.com/en/ukraines-drone-attack-halts-work-electronic-plant-chuvashia-russia-says-2025-06-09/ oops, i forgot reuters is paywall/sucks. https://euromaidanpress.com/2025/06/11/ukraine-drone-strikes-russian-military-sites/ https://www.newsweek.com/putin-war-machine-dealt-blow-kyiv-2082743 https://www.kyivpost.com/post/54324 ...the more i read the less clear it seems to be about the actual success opf the strikes. it looks like it is definitely a partiall success. https://www.themoscowtimes.com/2025/06/09/ukrainian-drones-strike-electronics-factory-in-chuvashia-a89380 ...then there is the 1 Million milestone: https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/europe/ukraine-russia-war-putin-trump-drones-casualties-latest-news-b2768503.html Anyway, I need read up and figure out a little JS script to convert these little txt notes into proper html. also, it would be smart to figure out some sort of weather-blog to deomonstrate how pathetic weather prediction has become since trump took office. anyway, CBLFU. bye for now. p.s. probably worth saving this here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jalfpoldyo0 The Whole Fuel Priming System Explained - In a 2-Stroke Carburetor. (by Craig Kirkman) https://www.youtube.com/@TheRepairSpecialist also https://media.tractorsupply.com/is/content/TractorSupplyCompany/tsc/product/1/72/20/47/1722047_Man1.pdf ...one last addition: i managed to take appart the saw before it got dark, and i observed that there appears to be no flow from the carburetor to the primer and return line. why this is i'm not entirely sure; i didn't have enough time to properly investigate the carburetor, and i don't have a suitable space to completely disassemble it inside right now, and i didn't want to leave the saw disassembled outside over night. And so i put it all back together(i think correctly). i'll have to clear some space and work on it later. it will be a bit of a puzzle finding space since the man prioritized giving me greif over making sure i have the right tools(and enough space). i guess he doesn't have a very high opinion of me. ...also, one last OT thing, but i've noticed there don't seem to be as many swarms to catch around here lately in spring. i have also noticed the neighbors seem to be driving the spray truck around their orchard more often the past couple seasons. i never seem to find the oportunity to ask them about it. is it safe to assume insecticide?
