so, it appears the republican congress is attempting to hack the courts in Trump's favor. I had a bit of a shock when i initially saw this article, but then i realised i think it still needs to pass the senate:

it seems pretty serious if it passes. I didn't realise this big beutiful bill was so toxic. i guess it's just another example of why you can't trust trump on anything.
